I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Portland, OR yesterday and had a blast! I spent twice as much as I was thinking but I went with a list so I shouldn't complain. We got a lot of ideas and my boys got to spend some time with Chris's grandma. But I'll fill you in on that later.
Call me crazy but I was sitting on the couch earlier today and remembered that JoAnns was having a big sale and I had a 25% off my entire purchase (including sale items). So I jumped in the car and headed to JoAnns. Yes, I realize that I just spent a bunch of money the day before but JoAnns had their open stock paper for 5 for $1!!! And I needed to stock up on some of the colors that I use a lot of.
Well all that to say, I spent $38 and SAVED $67!!! I'll post pictures of both days later on once I've organized everything.
OMG! I'm from the Portland area, how did I not know about this expo?? I'm so bummmed, but I also shopped the Joann's sale!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate. I went to the Scrapbook Expo the weekend before in Pleasanton, Ca and went way over what I shoulve spent. Lucky for me it was my goddaughters 16th bday party Saturday and I was busy on Sunday as well because I was super tempted to go to JoAnns too. I'm a new follower by way of Momo's blog.
