Blast From the Past #7

This card... what to say about this card. I think that it's adorable. However, I had to HAND CUT each of these dresses out! It was extremely time consuming. But everyone loved how they turned out. My friend, Ayami, who I did the baby shower for, asked me to make her birth announcements. So I gave her a few different ideas, and this is what she chose. It's safe to say that I will probably never make these again. :)

Details:
Bazzill Chablis & Berry Blush
Flower & Brad - Recollections
Argyle & Pink/Green dot (not pictured-instead of argyle paper) - Heidi Grace
White Daisy (not pictured-instead of argyle paper) - Imaginisce 'Twitterpated'

I don't remember where I found the template but I'm pretty sure I still have it saved on my desktop computer. If you would like it, just leave me a comment with your email address.

Blast From the Past #5

Welcome back to Blast from the Past! I made today's card so that I could have some thank you cards on hand for when people sent things to Carver right before and after he was born. It was so nice to have the cards all ready to go. All I had to do was write on the inside, address the envelope and mail! I highly recommend it to anyone about to give birth!

Plaid - DCWV The Stack III

Next week we have the final pocket card and it's probably one of my favorites!

Blast From the Past #4

Happy Valentine's Day! Hubbs and I met and started dating on 5/1/04 and got married on 5/3/08. Its been an interesting 7 years and I wouldn't change one thing! I love you babe and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!

Now onto the card! I have another pocket card for you today and it's PINK!! It's a baby shower invite for my friend Ayami. Kim and Ayami's showers were a week apart so I did the same idea for both of the parties to make things a little simplier on myself. :) You can find the tutorial here.

Blast From the Past #1

While I was rearranging some things in my crafting area, I came across all of my 'extra' cards. The extras from when I make batch cards for something. I tend to keep the extras along with any labels, notes, etc in case I want to make more.

Well I found some cards that I'd never posted! So over the next 9 weeks, I'm going to post one card a week on Mondays. I'm going to call it Blast from the Past (hence the post title) since it was a trip down memory lane.

Let's get started with the first card!

This was the Christmas card we mailed out last Christmas (2009). It was a lot more time consuming than I originally thought since I wasn't going to color the monkeys. Luckily, my good friend Mallorie came over and helped. :) Not all of the patterned papers were the same so that changed the border papers but you get the idea.

Details:
Stampendous Changito
DCWV Prints for the Year (Pattern & Solid)
Glossy Accents
Michaels ribbon

Come back next Monday for the next card!
