PbD Ch#2 - Favorite Holiday

Here's the quick card I did for the second challenge. It's not my favorite that I did for that day but it turned out pretty cute.

Wedding Thank Yous

Yay! I got to my craft desk yesterday and today! My mom asked me to make some thank you cards for the gifts they got at their wedding. She needed 20 and didn't really give me any pointers so I used the wedding colors (red and gold). She did mentioned a wedding bell somewhere in there. I combined all of that and this is what I came up with.

Wedding bell will ring

In all the hustle of getting ready for Carver's party, I squeezed in a couple cards. Yay me! I realized a couple days ago that I haven't really made any wedding cards so here's one.

Cards for my Mom part 2

Here's the third set of cards I made for my mom. I got to use my new bakers twine that I got from Pink by Design!! I'm in love. :) I liked these so much that I made another set for me... in pink, of course!

Core'dinations Grapevine / Lipstick
CB Perfectly Paisley embossing folder

For the final set my mom actually designed. She wanted a graduation card for my brother's fiance and so she picked the colors and I showed her a couple flowers and she picked this one. We couldn't decide on the placement of the two layers (purple then white, or white then purple) so I made two of each.

I think I like this way a little better.

Cards for my Mom

My mom asked me to make some generic cards so that she has some on hand. Her only stipulation was that they couldn't be "cutesy". Well, if you know me, that's a majority of what I do, so this gave me a challenge. I think they turned out pretty good and it stretched me to think outside of my box. :) I made four sets of four cards.

This first card is a repeat. I loved the simplicity and my mom liked it so this was the first set of four I made.

Since, according to the calendar, summer will be here in a couple months, I thought my mom could use some summery cards. These are 4.5x4.5 and they'll fit in a regular A2 size envelope (if you don't want to pay the extra postage).

Today's been a frustrating day around here. My son only napped for 30min - in the car! - and so I've been running after a cranky, tired little 22mo old today. Thankfully daddy came home a little early and they're playing. I'll post the other two sets tomorrow.

Carver's Creation

Carver was hanging out around my scrapbook desk while I was trying to find a cut I wanted to do. Well, Carver pointed to this tree on Stretch Your Imagination. Then he pointed to a scrap of brown on my desk. Then he pointed to this green ribbon. So I said ok and put the card together. I have to say, this is probably my favorite card! OH! And he picked out the sentiment too. haha

Halloween 2010

I made a trick-or-treating bucket for Carver to put all his candy in. It was super fun and I love how it turned out. :) The stickers were from Michaels and the bucket was from Artco Crafts in Tacoma.
