Enjoy Your Day

Here's a quick card I made. I love how bright it is, especially since it was cold and cloudy when I made it. :)

Walkin Boots

This is one of the Pink by Design sets that was released last month. I grew up in a small country town where the biggest event is the fair and rodeo Labor day weekend. We are at the end of a circuit so whoever wins at our rodeo goes onto Nationals in Las Vegas (the Super Bowl of rodeo). So I had to have this set!!! It was so much fun to work with, and for a non-colorer it was fun to color. :)

Friendship and Coffee

Ok, I have to say it. I cheated on Pink by Design and I'm feeling guilty. But I saw this set by Emma from My Creative Time and fell in love with this background stamp. It's the smaller of the two of this design and I love it! I've had this set since it came out and am just now getting the courage to use it. Can you tell that I'm intensely loyal? haha This picture does not do the card justice. I loved it so much that I made two and one's going to a friend and the other is for my {future} craft room.

Scrapbook Expo - Puyallup

Has anyone been to a scrapbook expo lately? Has it been smaller than normal? My friend, Mallorie, and I went to one of the local ones here last weekend and it was so small! I walked out of there spending only $60!!! And I didn't even get some of the things I always get (stickles, glimmer mists, ATG refills to name a few). They didn't even have them there! I got a couple packs of paper, some scrabble tiles, brads, a Noah's Ark stamp set for Carver and 3 Memory Box dies. I'm super stoked about the dies but that's about it. There's another one in November that should be bigger. I just see it as a vicious cycle. Companies don't come because people aren't buying but then people aren't buying because the companies aren't there. :/

Glamo{ur}ous Girlfriend

Hey everyone!!! I've actually been crafting! Yay! It was super nice out for awhile, and we got a pool (on sale for 50% off!) so that's where I've been lately. But the weather in western WA is unpredictable so we'll have a couple nice days (mid-70s to low 80s) and then we'll have a day like yesterday that was in the 60s (I wore a sweatshirt as it was 57 around 930am) which gives me time to craft while the boys are outside.

I've been wanting to play with this stamp set ever since it came in the mail. It's called Shoe Addict from Pink by Design and it's so much fun! It was May's stamp of the month. The sentiment is from Bracketful which is a must have!

Journal

My friend, Marita, that I did the Farmers Market with last year, asked me if I would make her a journal. She's reading 7 (by Jen Hatmaker - look it up, it'll change your life!!) right now and wanted a journal to use along side it. She wanted a big 7 on the front and something sorta vintage/grunge so this is what I came up with. I pulled this paper out of my stash and I instantly fell in love with it! If it wasn't already spoken for, I would've kept it for myself. :)

I filled it with lined notebook paper so I could use more sheets since they are so thin. Now I need a journal too. haha

Word Search

Here's a couple quick baby cards I made using Pink by Design's Found You set. When I got this set, I stamped it out and found every word/phrase that I could. There's probably still a few that I haven't found yet (those darn diagonal ones mess me up) but now I have a reference to look at. I used some leftover paper from the wedding shower I did for these and it looks like I'm still on the yellow/gray theme. :)

Carver's Pirate Party {Pictures!}

I'm only a week late! Yay! Here's the pictures from Carver's party. I did really good at taking pictures of all the decorations. But I forgot to take pictures during the actual party. :( The kids were soooo cute in their pirate outfits.

The banner wreath. It's a wrapped yarn wreath.

Cupcake toppers. Nope, didn't get a picture of the cupcakes.

 The banner
 See the unexpected guest?
This bird comes in the house whenever the front door is open long enough. It's to the point where, as long as he doesn't poop, I don't care.
 yummy snacks
Melon boat. Thanks Mom for making it!
So glad I found this fabric. It's satin so I knew it would stain but it was so worth it.
Straws. We used jelly jars to drink out of.
So adorable!!! When did he get so big??
 Checking out his tattoo
 I'm 3!!! Love this shirt.

Carver woke up on his actual birthday to a little present from Noah :)
