Baby Love

There seems to be another wave of pregnancy announcements on Facebook lately so I decided to make some cards to have on hand. I love the orange and pink together! It makes me think of rainbow sherbert. yum!

Golden Anniversary

***Don't forget my giveaway on THIS post. You have until Labor Day at 11:59pm PST***

A friend of mine asked me to make a wedding anniversary card for her. She said it was a 50th anniversary and this couple "is a hoot!" (her words). So this is what I came up with. I'm loving the little half pint sets from Pink by Design! There's two so far and they are so much fun. ;)

A Thank you Card

Wednesday was our last night of Bible Study and we all wanted to thank the wonderful lady that organized and planned. By the end of the study, there were still over 20 women and that says a lot about the study and Erica. We decided to have a card and a collection of $5-10 each for a Nordstrom card to thank Erica for all the work she did. She even came to the study 2 days after giving birth!!!

Finally the HAUL!!!

Finally! Here's everything I got at the expo a couple weekends ago. No one guessed the two things I had you guess on so they are the first two pictures.

This is the second corner chomper I've bought. I love them but hate to pay shipping so it was good to find this and it was only $15!! Can't beat that.

Big clothes pin and the iBond

Template for making flowers.

Fabric tape; sanding blocks, screens for glimmer mists

The packs of paper were $4 for 25 sheets! Two things of glitter and a Pearl Pen. This was the first time I'd actually been able to find them so I snagged one up. I guess I'm into a blue thing this year for Christmas/winter.

The clock paper will the the background for Carver's delivery pictures; The snowflakes is for some favor bags for my mom's family christmas (No one lets us bring food so I'm going to do Hershey nuggets instead), the Peppermint paper is for our Christmas cards.

Stickles (Waterfall, Lime Green & Silver) and buttons.

Lace tape and handmade by stamp. Who knows if I'll actually use the stamp but figured it'd be good to have. And since Boxer is closing it was really cheap!

My first glimmer mist

Ribbon and Brads: Sock Monkeys (for last year's halloween pictures); Snowflakes, Bees, and tools.

Owl be Home for Christmas

Here's another owl card. :) Sometimes, you just need to make a cricut-less card. My cricut is on the other side of my desk, and depending on how I'm feeling that day, it can be too much to walk around my desk to cut something out. I know, lazy me, but hey! I'm pregnant. haha

Oct 31

Here's one of the cards I made yesterday. I used Card Patterns sketch #135 (it closed yesterday). I am loving DCWV's Ghosts and Goblins stack. I wish I'd gotten the small stack to go with the 12x12 so that I could use some more of the bigger designs on cards.

Sweet as Honey

I've been wanting to do a bee card for months and I finally sat down to make one. I used Card Patterns Sketch #114 for the layout. I'm submitting this to More Than Favor's Give a Hoot challenge. I don't have the cartridge but I did see a bee on there. :)

A Sketch and a Challenge

I'm still on the quest of making birthday cards so this is for one of my longtime friend's birthday. Her birthday is two days before mine and we've been friends since we were 5 yrs old! I already had this duck cut and assembled from another card (I ended up making it a little smaller for that card) so this came together really quick.

A Bee to Celebrate With

I knew that the first cut I did with Birthday Bash would be this bee and I was true to my word. I love this cartridge! The layers are so easy to assemble. This card feels really plain but I don't want to change anything. I like that this card isn't strictly for a birthday.

This started out using a sketch but then I abandoned that and just made a simple card. :) It's hard to tell but I put stickles on the white circles. The challenges this week seemed to be the same so that made it easy. :)

Pretty in Pink

When I saw Peachy Keen's Sketch Challenge #47 I had to do it! The colors alone got me. I have to admit though, it sat half way done on my desk for a few days while I pondered how to cut the ring. I don't have any spellbinders yet (or a way to cut them) so I had to get creative. But that's what we do right? So I cut the pink circle and the white circle and traced around the white circle and cut it out using my xacto knife. It worked out pretty good.

Challenges:
Peachy Keen sketch - think bling
Paper Playtime Ch. 41 - Pink and Glitter

I used pink stickles to add a little more glitter to the ring.

How Tweet!

I'm back!!! I haven't posted in awhile - besides the Blast from the Past post - but that doesn't mean that I haven't been crafting. :) I've done a few layouts and those take a little more time than cards. I'll post those over the next few days.

Here's a card that I did for My Pink Stamper's Something Spring challenge. I didn't really have a set idea on what I was going to do but I think it turned out pretty cute.

Better late, then never

I figured it was about time to show you the Christmas cards I mailed out this year.

It's a classic Z-fold card. I only made 50 this year. The only difference between the cards is the patterned paper. However, they all have a snowflake theme.

Welcome Home!

My brother's girlfriend has been in Africa on a mission for the last 3 months and just came home. A bunch of people gave cards to put all over her room for when she came home. Here's the card I made. I found the directions on THIS post by Creations by Christie. It's made from one 12x12 sheet of paper and this one holds 3 tags.

Tag #1 - from me!

Tag #2 - From Carver. He drew a picture on the back (the back is white)

Tag #3 - from Chris. This page didn't have a design so I put rhinestones and stickles on some of the dots.
