Baby Overalls

Hi all! I have another baby card for you today. Sometimes I find it frustrating that girls get all the cute stuff. So when I find cute boy things it makes me happy, like these overalls. :)

Little Socks

When I was making yesterday's card, it cut out these socks with the dress. I was originally going to just throw them away since they didn't go with my idea for the card. Then it came to me that I could make a card with just the socks! As Carver would say, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!" (Thanks Bob the Builder for teaching my son about the three R's.)

Baby Love

There seems to be another wave of pregnancy announcements on Facebook lately so I decided to make some cards to have on hand. I love the orange and pink together! It makes me think of rainbow sherbert. yum!

Birthday Girl

Last Saturday was a busy day for us. We had our nephew's 2nd birthday from 11-1pm and then we had my friend's daughter's 2nd birthday from 3-5pm and that was about an hour and a half away from us. Needless to say, we got a lot of driving time in and Carver slept in the car.

Here's the card we gave Reina. :) Funny Story: I pulled out my iRock tool and realized it had dead batteries. No big deal, I'll just get some out of the pantry. I go to the pantry and realize we have NO batteries!! How is that?!?!?! We always have batteries! I thought about taking batteries out of a remote or toy but then decided to just use Glossy Accents.

Buckaroo

I already had the baby cut out for this post but it ended up being too small so I stuck it in my pile of 'reject cuts'. i hadn't used my Old West cartridge in awhile so I pulled it out to see what stuck out to me. Here's what I came up with.

Well my son just came out in his boots and daddy's hat and wants to ride his horse. He makes me sit in his room with him while he rides. haha He must have sensed that I was posting this card today. :) Have a great weekend!

Bundle of Joy

This was originally going to be for Peachy Keen's Face it Friday challenge (shape card) but then I added the yellow backer paper and kind of ruined that idea. haha I took a folded piece of paper and ran it through my Big Shot with a spellbinders die positioned so that it didn't cut one side all the way (see second picture) to create a shape card. But then I realized that for that die set, it made the card too small. This would work better with a different set.

I LOVE how it turned out and will definitely be making more of these - with different die sets though. I used OWH Stars & Stamps sketch #81.

Baby Buggy

I am finally able to catch up on all the cards I've been making lately. I made this a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun to make. I took the sketch from the fall tree card I made and made a square card with it.

1st Birthday Girl card

I made this card (a repeat from this post) for a friend of mine's daughter's first birthday party this weekend. Her actual birthday was on Monday.

This picture didn't turn out very well but I used clear buttons with divine twine tied through them.

A new baby and a big sister!

A good friend of mine had a baby girl on the 16th. Her first daughter is my son's best friend. So the day that they came home from the hospital we brought them Papa Murphys pizza and a little gift for Sadie (the big sister!). Carver wanted to get her a coloring book and some crayons since he LOVES to color. haha

Here's the card I made for the family. I was rushing to get these finished so the lighting isn't the best. Sorry!
