Yummy Watermelon

Since I had Doodlecharms out a few days ago, I wanted to make a super quick card with the watermelon. Believe it or not, I haven't had any watermelon yet this summer! That will have to be changed quick. I LOVE watermelon. :)

Sweet Popsicles!

Summer finally arrived here! Well for a few days that is, it's back to the mid-60s today. Like in western WA is never predictable. I got my crafting mojo going on Wednesday since we'd been gone Fri-Tues at our cabin. It was a great weekend and I'll post a couple pictures and what we did later on (I'm supposed to be working right now haha)

Red White and Blue

I was playing around with some 4th of July ideas and came up with this card. I don't know if this will be the one that I send out but I love how simple it is.

Party Hat

This started out using a sketch but then I abandoned that and just made a simple card. :) It's hard to tell but I put stickles on the white circles. The challenges this week seemed to be the same so that made it easy. :)

A fall card in spring

I was challenged by More Than Favors to use the Doodlecharms cartridge. This was one of the first cartridges I bought and, to be honest, I don't use it much anymore. But I love this card! I saw the basket and then a couple pages later, the acorns and the wheels started turning.

A gift of cards

My MOMs group had a baby shower for one of our moms today. She has a 2 yr old little boy and is pregnant with twin girls! We were asked to buy clothes, since she'll definitely be needing them! I was part of the planning/decorating so the onesies that I bought were hung on a clothesline as decoration.

I didn't feel like that was enough so I made her some thank you cards. I did 10 of each design for a total of 20 cards. They were really simple but so adorable!

I'll post the card I made for the mama and the banner on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Heart - Doodlecharms 1.25"
Recollections pink #98959 (I didn't grab the name while I was at Michaels)

Better late, then never

I figured it was about time to show you the Christmas cards I mailed out this year.

It's a classic Z-fold card. I only made 50 this year. The only difference between the cards is the patterned paper. However, they all have a snowflake theme.

What I've been up to lately

I've been busy making birthday cards. Here's the ones that have been given to their recipient. The rest, I'll have to show you later so it doesn't spoil the surprise. :)

This one is for my sister-in-law. She's a teacher and I wanted to use my new Printing 101 cartridge.

(Printing 101; Notecard - 4 3/4"; paper - all scraps; ribbon - JoAnns)

The inside of the card

(Printing 101; puzzle pieces - 1"; paper - all scraps)

A birthday card for my Dad. This is a Criss Cross card and I found the tutorial for it here.

(DCWV The Stack III and scraps; McGill Mini Tab Punch)

This last one is for a friend's daughter that just turned one! Her new bedroom is going to pink and white so we used that as a jumping ground for her card and present.

(S-Cuttin' Up at 4 1/2", Ladybug - Doodlecharms at 1"; Black & White paper - Target; Pink Gingham - Paper Pizazz; ribbon from Michaels)

Her present. We got her some wood alphabet blocks and the basket is to hold them in. I got the basket in the bath section at Target and weaved the ribbon through it.
