I'm back! The hole is still there but I moved my desk back to *almost* the same spot so I could get some crafting done. I've been busy making notebooks for a craft show I'm doing this weekend (see all the information below).

Our Christmas Cards

Here's the cards we sent out to family and friends this year. I wanted it to be a lot simpler than last year. Well it seemed a lot easier in my head but as these cards kept going... and going... and going, it felt like a lot more work than I originally thought. I LOVE how they turned out though!!

Beautiful Birthday Girl

I feel horrible for not posting anything!!! I sat down every day since Saturday ready to post this card but then something always came up. I'm going to schedule the thank you cards I made for tomorrow so that I definitely have something then.

This is the card I made for my niece's birthday. According to Alea, she wanted a 'mermaid-princess theme'. Well, her mom got invites that had cupcakes on them and from there it turned into a cupcake theme. haha

Mothers Day 2011

Here's the Mothers Day cards I made this year. I wanted to keep them simple (I made 10 for family and mommy friends) and I love how they turned out. They feel very spring-y and living in western WA, we can use all the spring we can since we don't see the sun that much. :)

In other news, today is the anniversary of the day my hubby and I met! We've been together 7 years and it feels like yesterday that we laid eyes on each other. Our wedding anniversary is on Tuesday and we've been married for 3 years! Crazy how time flies!

Fishing Pole

I sat down the other day and wrote down everyone that I know that has birthdays in the next couple months so that I could make cards. I have a bunch of cards in my stash but I wanted to get back to my love of creating a card for a specific person.

This is a perfect example of that. This is for my father-in-law's birthday at the end of May. His passion is fishing and would be out there all day, every day, if he could. So when I saw that Flaunt it Fridays challenge was to use the Fish in Simply Charmed, it was perfect.

Spring Bunny

I made a card without using Create a Critter! I've been in such a rut lately. That cartridge has everything! If you don't already have it, I strongly recommend that you get it. However, I went from Create a Critter to Simply Charmed. haha Baby steps, right?

Cupcakes Galore!

Disclaimer: This was a very fast card which meant that I didn't have time to take a decent picture.

I found an adorable cupcake kitchen timer at JoAnns last week and instantly thought of my cousin. She LOVES baking and is currently working at a cupcake store, Hello Cupcake! So since I had an excuse to go and visit Allix at work ;), I had to make a card to go with my gift.

I went a little overboard with the cupcakes. haha

Pot o Gold

I was too late posting for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #63 but this card was too cute to not share. :)

I decided to make this a shape card. I simply printed layer #1 again and scored just under the lip of the pot. I then glued that to the back of the original cut.

Love Bug Cards

I've had these done for a couple weeks now but I wanted to wait until Valentine's Day was a little closer to unveil them. :) I originally made these for my MOMs group Bunco night as one of the prizes. I loved them so much that I made more for Carver to mail to his friends. :) I love the way they turned out!!!

This also happened to work for Momo's Tuesday Challenge and So Saturday Challenge #2.
