This card was for Pink by Design's 2nd Anniversary challenge #12. This challenge was to use something around your house as inspiration. My crafting area is in our informal dining room and it's right next to the kitchen. So when I saw this challenge, the first thing I saw when I looked up was my bread maker. I am in love with my bread maker and make at least one loaf a week. It's so easy to dump in all the ingredients and click start and then go about your day. :)

This year's Father's Day card

Here's the Father's Day cards I made this year. I've been swamped with birthday party planning lately so these were pretty quick and easy. My son's 2nd birthday is on Father's day this year and we're having his party the day before. I'll post some of the decorations I've made, as well as the invitations we sent out, in the next couple days.

Up Up and Away!

This card took awhile for me to like it but I think it's won me over. :) I didn't like the empty space at the bottom but now I think that it goes with the idea that the balloons are floating up into the clouds. This is for a friend of mine whose birthday is a few weeks away.

Speaking of birthdays.... mine is coming up too! This year my birthday falls on Mothers day. This only happens every 7 (?) years. I never want to do much for my birthday but this year I wanted to do something. That was until I realized when my birthday was. So we're going to have a Mothers day BBQ with our families and call it good. We'll see what happens. haha
