Mr & Mrs

Here's a card I made for the wedding we went to a few weeks ago. She's the one I hosted the wedding shower for, so I just had to use yellow in their wedding card. :)

Celebrate Presents

***Don't forget my giveaway on THIS post. You have until Labor day at 11:59p PST***

My dad got married August 11th so we had to go down to Portland for that. Both my brothers were there and it was really great to spend time with them. My dad and my brother, Cody, both have birthdays in September. I didn't know if I'd see them before their birthdays (Cody lives in CO) so I decided to give them their birthday presents early. I made each of them a loaf of whole wheat honey bread and a batch of granola. It turned out that I saw my dad AND Cody the next weekend. haha Cody was coming through on his way to a wedding before going back to CO and I dropped of some supplies for the firefighters that were fighting the fire in my hometown, with my dad.

This is my dad's card
Here's Cody's. I wanted them to be the same but different. I'm loving gray right now!!

Golden Anniversary

***Don't forget my giveaway on THIS post. You have until Labor Day at 11:59pm PST***

A friend of mine asked me to make a wedding anniversary card for her. She said it was a 50th anniversary and this couple "is a hoot!" (her words). So this is what I came up with. I'm loving the little half pint sets from Pink by Design! There's two so far and they are so much fun. ;)

Happy Anniversary!

My 4th Anniversary was on Thursday. It's amazing that we've been together a total of 8 years now! We've definitely been through a lot but I wouldn't change anything! I love you Chris!

Since we were going to Spokane for the weekend, we decided to leave early so that my mom could watch Carver while we went to dinner and a movie for our anniversary. We saw The Lucky One and loved it! I'm a BIG Nicholas Sparks fan so I love anything by him and Chris actually likes chick flicks! haha How did I get so lucky?!? :)

Here's the card I made for Chris. I had seen it over at Scrappin Navy Wife and had been meaning to use this gumball machine for something so I 'stole' Nikki's use of polka dots and we were good to go. :) I used my camera to take the picture so that's why it's not the best quality. Sorry!

Moments with You

I'm loving the silhouette look for Valentines cards. The fact that it's a lot less work is a plus too. :)

I Wheelie Like You

Sometime last week, I made a list of all the Valentine's cards I wanted to make with the cartridge cut and stamp I wanted. So when I was able to sit down and make some cards I was able to make a few different ones. Here's one of those. You know those cards that you have a picture in your head about and when you get it finished it looks different? Well this was one of them but in a totally good way. I love the paper that I picked and the label was a part of the paper pack so the colors are perfect!

A Shower to go with a Weddding

Here's the bridal shower card that goes with the wedding card I showed this morning. However, this could be used as a wedding card instead. Sorry I'm not too chatty today, just a lot going on. :)

Wedding Silhouettes

I love the look of silhouettes. They're easy and it gives a classic look. I also made a bridal shower card to go with this one. I'll post that later today. I used an old sketch from OWH Stars & Stamps.

Love, Honor, Cherish

Today's another day at the farmers market for me. I'm finding that a lot of people want wedding cards. Duh, it's summer. haha So I've been selling out of all my wedding cards every week. I actually made this one last week but I'm so far behind in posting that this was next on my list to post.

Wedding Stamp

My long-time friend's youngest brother is getting married this summer. It's crazy to believe that the first time that my friend and I really hung out was because her mom was in labor with this brother! It's crazy how time flies. (Given, he's only 18yrs old but still...). Anyways, I needed to make a card for them and Cricut Cardz is having a challenge to create a wedding card. Perfect!!

Our 3rd Anniversary

Wow! I think I'm finally back in the swing of things after last weekend and blogger being down! Here's the card I made for my dear hubby for our anniversary. Sorry the lighting's off. I got this layout idea from Card Creations & More by C (I'm 99% sure). I love how it turned out and may be making a batch of these to have on hand. Yes, I know the sentiment is crooked. I wasn't thinking and laid all the layers down before stamping. Chris didn't seem to mind though. :)

A Wedding Card

My mom is going to a wedding tomorrow and asked me to make a card for her to give them. My mom doesn't like 'cutesy' cards so it was a challenge to change my way of thinking but I think it turned out cute. I couldn't get the right lighting, so sorry for the dark photo.

Carver's new cards

I try to keep thank you cards on hand for Carver and for me. It's so easy to just grab a card, write a note and send it out. No having to sit down and make a card. Well, Carver was running low on his so I decided to make some more. I took his Valentine's Card and made some minor changes.

Notice my new floral frog? I've kindly asked the hubbs to paint it for me. I'd prefer pink but I know that we have black spray paint on hand so that's what I'll probably end up getting.
