How Have You Bean?

I am falling IN LOVE with the new Love You a Latte cartridge. It came in the mail yesterday and I instantly created a couple cards with it. This card has to be my all time favorite card that I've made. So I made two, and one is going to go into my 'stash' to decorate my future scrapbook room. :)

Farmers Market

I know I should've posted this before yesterday, and I had every intent to, but life got in the way.

I'm now officially doing the farmers market in Port Orchard!! I'm selling my cards, banners and hair bow holders. I'm sharing a booth with a friend of mine that makes hair bows and I'm really excited for this new venture we're doing. :)

My first day was yesterday (my friend started a week early but I was at a wedding) and it was really fun. I didn't sell many cards but I wasn't expecting to the first day. Yesterday and next week will probably be just getting my name out there.

Feeling Crabby??

I just realized that I never told you guys what we did for the 4th of July weekend. My husband's family has a cabin on the Hood Canal (WA) so that's where we were. We had some friends of ours up for part of the weekend. It was spent crabbing, relaxing and enjoying each other. It's always so good to get away. In all, we caught about 55-60ish dungeoness crab. YUM!!!

Ever since we've been home, Carver has been making crab pinchers with his fingers (thumb and fore finger). So we had to make a card with the cute crab from Create a Critter.

Christmas card in July?!?

Have you been to Target, etc lately? They already have summer stuff on clearance and back to school stuff out. JoAnns and Michaels have Halloween and some Christmas stuff out. Where did summer go????

On a different note, I love that there's Christmas challenges out right now. I always say I'm going to start my Christmas cards early and this is a great motivation. :)

Almost there!!!

For the Bride

Here's a card for a bridal shower. This card gave me a lot of trouble. It was pictured totally different in my head and when I got that idea on paper, it just didn't look right. So I altered it a little, with help from my dear hubby, and I love this one better than the idea I had originally thought of. :)

Friday was Pink by Design's Ustream where new stamps were released. Each month Sarah out-does herself. All of her stamps are AMAZING!!! During this Ustream, we all made a favor box. Here's mine. I, of course, had to do a coffee theme. haha

I paper pieced some of the coffee beans & cups and put glossy accents on some of the others.

Summer finally arrived here! Well for a few days that is, it's back to the mid-60s today. Like in western WA is never predictable. I got my crafting mojo going on Wednesday since we'd been gone Fri-Tues at our cabin. A Late Fathers Day Card

I knew what I wanted to do for my Fathers Day card to Chris but I was waiting on this stamp from Pink by Design. Well it came the Monday after Fathers Day. haha I told Chris it would be late so he wasn't disappointed when he didn't get an actual card (we made cards with crayons). I got the idea from Jenny at Crazy About Cricut. Her's was for a Great Husband so I altered it to be a Fathers Day card. All of the recipe is true for Chris... well, I don't know about the sweat and tears but it works. :)

Happy Birthday America!!!!!

I just wanted to pop in and say Happy 4th of July to everyone. :) We're at our cabin and I am using my husband's mi-fi to get internet access. He's out checking the crab pots so I have to be quick.
