Moments with You

I'm loving the silhouette look for Valentines cards. The fact that it's a lot less work is a plus too. :)

I Wheelie Like You

Sometime last week, I made a list of all the Valentine's cards I wanted to make with the cartridge cut and stamp I wanted. So when I was able to sit down and make some cards I was able to make a few different ones. Here's one of those. You know those cards that you have a picture in your head about and when you get it finished it looks different? Well this was one of them but in a totally good way. I love the paper that I picked and the label was a part of the paper pack so the colors are perfect!

Toasty Hands

Here's another card I made while we were cooped up in the house. The power was out so I stretched my imagination and pulled out my Spellbinders to see what inspiration I could come up with.

I really like this card and actually used it as part of my submission to the Pink by Design Design Team Call. There's still a couple days left to enter! Here's all the information that you need to include in your application.

You're Got my Heart on a String

With all the snow/ice going on, I've been able to get some crafting done! However, our power was out for about 4 hours yesterday so I was limited to what I could use. In total, I was able to made three different cards! I'll post the other two over the next few days.

Sarah Hamer Designs (aka Pink Cricut) has a new link party every Tuesday. It's a great place to get ideas and you've got a couple more days to link up to the current link party!

Winter Wonderland

Hey everyone!!!! I've been busy finishing projects so I could go away on a girls' trip this weekend but.... WE'RE IN A WINTER WONDERLAND!!!

I have to mention that we are at 200ft above sea level so snow here is VERY rare. We've got about 6in with a nice coat of ice on top. We've rescheduled our girls' trip but it's ends up being a weekend I can't go. :(. You might have heard about us on your news. We're in western WA, and my hubby saw our area on the news last night.

After I take some pictures, I should be able to post a couple projects. Well as long as our power holds out that is. haha

Thanks Banner Card

I made 3 of these quick cards yesterday to send to a couple people. I used a sketch from Card Patterns. However, I am a little late in linking up. Oh well. I'm not usually one to like the clean and simple/lots of white area cards but this turned out pretty cute.

Our Christmas Cards

Here's the cards we sent out to family and friends this year. I wanted it to be a lot simpler than last year. Well it seemed a lot easier in my head but as these cards kept going... and going... and going, it felt like a lot more work than I originally thought. I LOVE how they turned out though!!
I've had a couple friends say that their kids kept trying to 'eat' the card. haha

Wedding Thank Yous

Yay! I got to my craft desk yesterday and today! My mom asked me to make some thank you cards for the gifts they got at their wedding. She needed 20 and didn't really give me any pointers so I used the wedding colors (red and gold). She did mentioned a wedding bell somewhere in there. I combined all of that and this is what I came up with.

Lazy Me!

After the crazyness of Christmas, we have been super lazy around here. That means that I haven't done anything crafty. :( I am working on some baby shower invites for my sister in law's friend, but other than that, I haven't done anything. I desperately want to get back to crafting but feel like there's other things that need to be done first - the invites, taking down Christmas (yes, it is still up. haha) and the usual laundry and dishes.

Thank you so much for your patience! This break isn't something that I wanted or planned; life just got in the way. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. Hopefully I'll be back soon with something to show you! :)
